Unlike mechanical flowmeters, the Flowmaster 250 MK2 features a debris-resistant, no-moving-parts electromagnetic sensor, ensuring accurate readings even in challenging water conditions. It offers an accuracy of ±15 L/min for flows between 30 and 750 LPM and ±2% above 750 LPM. Pressure measurements are precise within ±1% of the range, making the unit ideal for demanding applications that require traceable and repeatable data.
Equipped with a bright, backlit 320 x 240 colour display, the Flowmaster 250 MK2 presents all key information on a single screen with easy-to-navigate controls. A rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides up to 10 hours of operation, and an optional external battery pack is available to extend runtime in the field. With compact dimensions and a carry handle for portability, it is built to go wherever accurate water flow data is needed.
The instrument is supplied with BS Instantaneous 2.5” male and female connectors as standard, and additional adaptors such as Storz, NH, and others are available on request. A travel case with compartments, castor wheels, and a handle can also be included for ease of transport and protection.

The Flowmaster 250 Mk II is a digital flowmeter used to evaluate hydrant and water-main capacity (pressure and flow), check for leaks or obstructions and test pumps and hoses. It uses an electromagnetic flow sensor to measure flows from 30 to 3,000 L/min with high accuracy (±15 L/min above 750 L/min and ±2% below 750 L/min).
The unit operates at pressures up to 16 bar, with a maximum pressure of 25 bar. It includes a 12 V, 2.4 Ah internal battery, weighs about 12.5 kg, and can run a digital pressure transducer for simultaneous flow and pressure measurements.
Standard couplings are 2½ in instantaneous connectors or BSP male threads, but adaptors can be provided. The housing is made from lightweight LM25 aluminium and is available in red RAL 3020 or natural finishes.
