We’re absolutely delighted to have won the prestigious EDP Norfolk Business of the Year Award for 2023, sponsored by Barclays Bank PLC. We feel particularly honored given there were so many excellent Norfolk businesses amongst the finalists. This award will help enhance our brand as we further develop our business globally to become one of the world leaders in the manufacture of professional front-line firefighting products.
Norfolk Environmental and Sustainability Award 2023
The Delta Fire team was particularly pleased to receive the EDP Environmental and Sustainability Award 2023 since the company has placed caring for the environment at the very heart of its business operations.
Delta Fire has invested heavily in building a state of the art manufacturing facility in Norfolk, UK with CNC manufacturing machines tended by solar powered robots. We are now generating 260 MWh of solar electricity annually, shortly to be backed up by a large commercial solar storage battery and we are well on our way to becoming operationally carbon zero by 2025.
