Delta Starflex Type 1 & Type 2 are high quality layflat fire hoses used by Marine & Industrial sectors around the world.
Starflex Type 1 is an uncoated white hose approved for marine use under the Marine Equipment Directive (MED) in diameters up to 2” (52mm). Due to its lightweight design Starflex Type 1 is also ideal for general purpose firefighting, washdown and dust suppression applications. A hi-viz yellow Type 1 option is also available.
Starflex Type 2 is constructed with an all synthetic woven polyester jacket providing enhanced abrasion resistance thanks to the elastomeric coating and is available in either red or blue.
The Starflex range is manufactured to BS6391 and is suitable for use with sea water / brackish water and is immune to mildew & bacteria. Available in a choice of lengths, diameters and colours Starflex can be supplied with any British or International couplings (light alloy or gunmetal) for compatibility to existing equipment.
